Giving a blessing is a national tradition of sincere intentions and good wishes. No holiday of the Kazakh people passes without good wishes and blessings. Blessing during the celebration of Nauryz takes a special place. On this day children greet the elders and receive their blessing.
No celebration of Nauryz is complete without songs, folk melodies and dombra!
Many people will know the famous story "My name is Kozha" by B. Sokpakpaev, an outstanding children's writer of Kazakh literature. Y10 pupils Batyrkhan and Aigerim share their impressions of the work.
You can’t imagine Nauryz holiday without jokes, games and laughter. In Kazakh language classes, pupils learned the jokes of the folk hero Kozhanasyr. Y11 pupils Adiya, Zhibek and Adelya reside some of these for us.
During the celebration of Nauryz, festive tables are always full of Kazakh national dishes. On the eve of the Nauryz holiday, our pupils tried to cook Nauryz dishes with their own hands. Y12 pupil Anna Kim will share with you her recipe for making baursaks.
