One of the hardest realities for a parent is the fact that we cannot protect our children from every hurt, harm or problem that may come their way. This is especially true as they grow ever more independent with age. That raises the question: How do we assure our children are as safe as they can be in any situation? This seminar addresses the question and looks at the ways parents we can build awareness of safety needs, initiate meaningful family dialogue around safety concerns and implement strong safety practices without creating fearful children. Our world is unpredictable and comes with an expectation that danger is present and there are ways to both prevent being exposed to unnecessary danger and respond effectively to danger, when it presents.
