Edmonstone House is named after Sir George Edmonstone who was an administrator and Foreign Secretary to the Government of India during the Mutiny. The House colour is blue, and every member of the House is very proud to be a part of the Edmonstone heritage. Edmonstonians take pride in their achievements, unity and in their consideration for others. They encourage a sense of strong community, friendship, citizenship, where they get on and contribute.
Senior School
Ms. Gulshat Jumagaliyeva –is the Edmonstone Housemistress for the Senior School. It is her second year as a Housemistress of the blue house. She strongly believes that united they win divided they fall. The willing heart, the strong aspiration along with positive atmosphere and care for each other in the House motivates every Edmonstonians to move forward.
