International Children’s Book Day

In the end of April Haileybury Astana took part in ‘International Children’s Book Day’, an opportunity to celebrate and inspire a love for reading whilst promoting and calling attention to Children’s Books. The children of the Junior School thoroughly enjoyed their day and were very excited to get involved with the various activities and competitions their teachers had planned. This year provided a chance for us to be creative, moving everything online was a challenge but the response and participation of teachers, parents and children made it very worthwhile.

A big well done to everyone who got involved and a special congratulations to all of our competition winners. Prizes will be ready for collection upon our return to school.

The Bold and the Beautiful and other 2020 highlights
Most of this calendar year, for Haileybury Astana teachers and pupils it has consisted of distance learning and daily meetings via Zoom. Nevertheless, remote education has strengthened our spirit and filled us with determination to make this academic year as productive, fun and engaging as it could be.
