Join us: Charity Football Day for Coach Nazar – Sunday, 28th of September

Dear families, staff and friends of Haileybury Almaty and KIS,

On Sunday, 28 September, our schools will come together for a Charity Football Event in support of Coach Nazar’s kidney transplant fund. The event will run from 12.30-14.30 at the Haileybury Almaty Astro Pitch.

This will be a joyful, family-friendly morning where mixed teams from both schools play in the spirit of community and support. Alongside the matches, we’ll host bake sales, pilaf & soft drinks, a penalty shoot-out and a community raffle—all to raise funds for Nazar. Limited-edition wristbands will also be available as a visible sign of support.

How you can get involved

1. Players (U11 / U13 / U15): Sign up here → PLAYER SIGN-UP LINK (limited spaces).
2. Volunteer / Bake: Bring items for the bake sale or help on the day → VOLUNTEER FORM.
3. Raffle prizes & sponsors: If you or your company can donate a prize (e.g. experiences, vouchers, memorabilia), please contact Gerda Schotte at Gerdaschotte@kisnet.org. Potential prizes already being explored include airline tickets, hotel/experience vouchers, football shirts and training sessions. (Final list to be confirmed.)
4. Wristbands: Buy in advance from both schools or on the day. Proceeds go directly to the fund.

Entry: by donation (suggested: 5,000 KZT per family—give what you can). Every contribution helps.

Coach Nazar is a much-loved figure across our communities; this event is our chance to stand with him and his family. Thank you for your generosity and support.
