Scholarships for 13-year-old pupils (2024-2025 academic year)

Haileybury Almaty  provides Scholarships to external pupils for the entire period of study whilst at school. These opportunities are open to citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan who have reached the age of 13 on 01.09.2024, and fully or partially cover all financial expenses while studying at school.

Conditions for winning a School Scholarship

- The date of birth  of the candidate must fall between   September 1, 2010 to August 31, 2011;

- High academic performance in their previous school (The average score of annual grades in the report card for the last two years is not less than 4.5);

-  a video presentation about yourself and writing an essay;

- Successful completion of subject testing;

- Successful completion of an interview with the school leadership team.;

- Submission of all necessary financial documents.

Competition Terms and Period

Application submission – from 16.01.2024 to 25.02.2024

Submission of necessary documents - video presentation, essay, scans of report cards - until 25.02.2024

Candidates who have submitted documents on time and successfully passed the qualifying round will be invited to the subject testing at the school. The date and time of the test will be sent later.

Stages of the competition

• Application submission
• Provision of  the necessary documents; writing an essay; creating a video presentation about yourself
• Qualifying round - written examination; (English, Mathematics, Non-verbal logic)
• Final interviews with candidates
• Submission of documents regarding of family financial statements
• Announcement of results
