The House System

Houses at Haileybury Almaty

Haileybury Almaty has a House system based on that at Haileybury in the UK. Every pupil and academic staff member in the school belongs to one of four House teams.

The House provides a way for pupils of all ages to socialise and work together as a team. Throughout the school year the House calendar features a series of competitions, ranging from sports days and swimming galas to poetry and music.

The House year culminates on Speech Day when the winners Cup are announced, for the coveted Junior School and Senior School House Cups.

Through their House, pupils have the opportunity to develop in a happy and positive learning environment where everyone is valued as part of a community that promotes resilience, resourcefulness and reliability.
