Today, Haileybury Almaty had the honour of welcoming Maxut Zhumayev, one of the world’s most accomplished mountaineers and the 12th person in history to climb all fourteen eight-thousanders - without supplemental oxygen.
During his lecture “Everest - The Climb of Life,” Mr Zhumayev shared his extraordinary journey of resilience, courage, and leadership with our pupils, offering valuable lessons about perseverance, safety, and the power of the human spirit.
