From 6–8 February, our student Aylin took part in the internationally renowned Crown Cup — an annual ballroom dance tournament held in Dubai.
This is the second consecutive year our students have participated in this prestigious competition, widely recognised as one of the most significant events in the world of competitive ballroom dance.
Exceptional Solo Performance
On 6 February, Aylin competed in the Solo (Advanced) category, performing five dances from the Latin programme:
- Cha-cha-cha
- Samba
- Rumba
- Paso Doble
- Jive
Her performance was nothing short of remarkable — Aylin won first place in all five dances, demonstrating outstanding technique, artistry, and stage presence.
Championship Titles in Pro/Am Category
On 8 February, Aylin competed again in the Pro/Am (teacher–student) division and achieved:
- 1st place — International Latin Scholarship Teen
- 1st place — Rising Star International Latin Teen
A Truly International Arena
The tournament welcomed dancers competing in Solo and Pro/Am categories from across the globe, including participants from: Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Italy, Ukraine, Russia, Israel, China, and many other countries — highlighting the high international standard of the competition.
Rapid Rise in Just Two Years
What makes Aylin’s achievements even more impressive is that she has been dancing for less than two years — this June will mark exactly two years since she began her training. In that short time, she has already:
- performed in Dubai three times
- competed in a tournament in Madrid
- regularly participated in international competitions in Almaty
For Aylin, competing at Crown Cup is not only a sporting success but also an important milestone in her professional growth and artistic development. We are incredibly proud of her dedication, discipline, and inspiring achievements.
