We are incredibly proud of our eight Junior School pupils—Marcel, Emilie, Dayana, Maira, Malika, Daniyal, Illiyas, and Daeyoon—who represented Haileybury Almaty at the FOBISIA Primary Mathematics Challenge 2025 held at the British School Jakarta on 14–15 March 2025.
Over the course of two exciting days, our pupils joined 32 teams from leading international schools across Asia, engaging in a variety of challenging mathematical tasks, team-based problem-solving, and cross-cultural collaboration.
Beyond the numbers, it was a valuable opportunity for our pupils to grow in confidence, build international friendships, and experience the joy of learning in a global context.
A heartfelt thank you to Mr Gooding and Ms Akmaral for accompanying and supporting our young mathematicians every step of the way.
