We are excited to share that Nazar, one of our Year 13 pupils, has won a silver medal at the International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI) 2024, held in Alexandria, Egypt.
Competing with 350 young talents from 90 different countries, Nazar’s brilliant performance has brought pride not only to Haileybury Almaty but also to Kazakhstan.
The IOI is one of the most respected informatics competitions in the world, and Nazar’s achievement highlights the incredible potential and dedication of our pupils. His success is a testament to the hard work he has put in, supported by his teachers, peers, and the entire Haileybury community.
We are immensely proud of Nazar’s accomplishment and look forward to seeing him continue to excel. His success inspires us all and reflects the values of excellence and perseverance that we uphold at Haileybury Almaty.
