Last Sunday, the Haileybury Parents Association (HPA) brought our community together for two wonderful House Community Events, celebrating the spirit of friendship, teamwork, and generosity across our Haileybury Almaty family.
Edmonstone & Kipling Houses at Altyn Kargaly
Families from Edmonstone and Kipling Houses gathered at Altyn Kargaly for a sunny afternoon filled with outdoor games, delicious food, and joyful laughter. The event featured a charity drive supporting a Women’s Shelter, where parents and pupils kindly donated warm women’s and children’s clothing, shoes, toys, and blankets.
Children enjoyed a variety of sports and fun activities, while parents connected over shared experiences and community spirit. It was a perfect blend of sunshine, smiles, and House pride.
Attlee & Bartle Frere Houses at Bellagio Restaurant
At the same time, Attlee and Bartle Frere Houses hosted their community gathering at Bellagio Restaurant. Families took part in team-building games, art activities, and a hiking tour led by House Masters for Senior School pupils. The event also included a charity initiative supporting a local Children’s Centre and Pet Shelter, collecting clothes, books, bed linen, and canned food.
Parents, pupils, and staff came together to enjoy a heartwarming lunch and celebrate the bonds that unite our Haileybury community.
A Celebration of Community and Compassion
Both events perfectly reflected Haileybury Almaty’s values of kindness, collaboration, and community spirit. Organised with great care and enthusiasm by the Haileybury Parents Association, these gatherings offered a beautiful opportunity for families to connect beyond the classroom and make a meaningful contribution to those in need.
We extend our sincere gratitude to all HPA members, House Masters, parents, and pupils who took part and helped make these House Community Events such memorable celebrations of unity and generosity.
