School Fees

Tuition fees are fixed at the Kazakhstani tenge (KZT) or British pound (GBP) equivalents for the duration of the school year. A coefficient of indexation is applied to each payment of school fees. According to the law on foreign currency regulation, Kazakhstan citizens can pay fees only in Tenge (using the exchange rate published by the National Bank of Kazakhstan as of the day of payment)

The chosen currency of payment is stated in each parental agreement and the relevant price list is published in the section of this website for existing clients.

Coefficient = Exchange rate as of the date of payment / Base exchange rate.

The base exchange rate for the 2026-2027 academic year is set at 680.

School fees cover:

1. Meals and snacks (breakfast, morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack).
2. All co-curricular activities (excluding external providers and individual music lessons).
3. Academic tuition, holistic care, and support throughout the academic year.
4. Pupil stationery and notebooks.
5. EAL/English Academy provision.
6. On-site security and a medical center in a safe and protected learning environment.

Please use the following methods for payments:

1. School Website: Haileybury Astana Payment (only in KZT) via Visa/MasterCard. Ensure your bank card is activated for online transactions and set the appropriate limits.
2. Forte Bank Branch: Payments can be made at any branch by issuing a payment order/invoice (only in KZT). Be sure to include the full name of the child and/or invoice number. Client code: 100619.
3. Mobile Applications: Use the mobile apps of Forte Bank, Halyk Bank, or Kaspi Bank (only in KZT). Include the full name of the child and/or invoice number, along with the year of study (2026/27) in the comments section.
4. Bank Transfer: Payments can also be made via bank transfer according to the payment order/invoice in KZT. Download the payment order/invoice from the school website on the day of payment and ensure to include the full name of the child and/or invoice number. Use the following bank account details:

Before starting the first day at school, please ensure to complete the following payments:

1. Guarantee Deposit: KZT 750,000 within 5 working days after signing the Educational Services Agreement.
2. 1st Term Payment: Due within 5 working days after signing the Educational Services Agreement for new starters and before June 5 for existing pupils.
3. 2nd Term Payment: Due by November 20, 2026.
4. 3rd Term Payment: Due by March 5, 2027.

From 05th June, all places for September 2026 will need to be secured by the payment of the first term’s fees. 

For the avoidance of any doubt, clients agree that the payment of the first term’s fees is considered as the client’s acceptance of the Terms of provision of educational services (Terms) and/or changes to these Terms in accordance with Article 396 and Article 402 of the Civil Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The school offers family discounts:

1. 10% discount for the third youngest child enrolling from one family.
2. 15% discount for the fourth youngest child enrolling from one family.

Parents must provide a written notice of withdrawal to the Admissions Office 45 calendar days before the last day of school or 45 calendar days before the start of the new academic year. In this case, the guarantee deposit will be refunded, along with any overpaid school fees from the last date in school.

If the withdrawal notice is given later than 45 calendar days before the last day of school or later than 45 days before the new academic year starts, a penalty of 30% of the school fees from the termination date until the end of the current academic year will apply. If the amount of fees paid by the parents is insufficient, the school reserves the right to withhold the penalty up to 100% from the guarantee payment.
