Congratulations on Outstanding IB Results –
Class of 2026
Haileybury Astana Celebrates the Success of its 2026 IB Diploma Graduates
Haileybury Astana is delighted to congratulate the Class of 2026 on their International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) results and the exceptional university destinations they have secured.
This year’s graduates achieved an average IB Diploma score of 35 points, compared with the current world average of 30.88. The school recorded an IBDP pass rate of 100%, with the highest individual score achieved being an outstanding 41 points out of a possible 45. These outcomes reflect the commitment, resilience and ambition of our students, supported by the expertise and dedication of our teaching staff and wider school community.
The Class of 2026 has received offers from leading universities across the United Kingdom, North America, Europe and Asia, with many students progressing to institutions ranked among the world’s best.
Confirmed destinations include University College London, the University of Hong Kong, the University of California, Berkeley, King’s College London, the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, the University of Warwick and Politecnico di Milano, together with many other outstanding universities around the world.
This year’s graduates will continue their studies in the United Kingdom, the United States, Hong Kong, mainland China, South Korea, Italy, Hungary, Germany, Switzerland, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates, reflecting the truly international outlook of a Haileybury education.
Headmaster John Coles said:
“The success of our students extends far beyond examination results. These outcomes reflect years of hard work, determination and intellectual curiosity, supported by exceptional teachers, dedicated families and a school community that encourages every pupil to fulfil their potential. We are immensely proud of everything our graduates have achieved and look forward to seeing the contribution they will make at universities and in communities around the world.”
While examination results are one important measure of success, they represent just one milestone in each student’s educational journey. At Haileybury Astana, we aim to develop confident, compassionate and internationally minded young people who are well prepared for the opportunities and challenges of university and beyond.
We congratulate every member of the Class of 2026 and wish them every success as they begin the next stage of their academic and personal journeys.
