Celebrating Success: Haileybury Astana Pupil Takes the Lead in FOBISIA 'Perspectives' Art Contest

Congratulations to Bagashar, a Year 10 pupil, for securing the first place in the FOBISIA International Art competition ‘Perspectives,’ hosted by the International School ParkCity in Malaysia!

This year, 31 member schools participated in the ‘Spaces in Perspective’ visual art challenge. The challenge prompted students to employ three-dimensional drawing and shading techniques to ‘capture’ an indoor or outdoor space of their choice. The hosts received 291 pieces of artwork, and we are thrilled that one of our pupils achieved first place.

This summer, Haileybury Astana joined the Foundation for British International Schools in Asia (FOBISIA). We believe that this membership provides our students with a tremendous opportunity to network and compete with pupils from the other 94 member schools across Asia.
