Haileybury Astana Academic Scholarship for 13-year-old pupils

Applications are now open for the Haileybury Astana Academic Scholarship Competition for external students only.

This scholarship offers talented pupils the opportunity to study at Haileybury Astana from Year 9 / 12+.

Competition stages (short overview):
• Video submission – January 21 to February 20, 2026
• Subject testing – February 28, 2026
• CAT4 assessment – March 15, 2026
• Interviews – April 6–8, 2026
• Financial review – April 27 to May 12, 2026

Who can apply:
• Citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan
• Strong academic performance
• Upper-Intermediate level of English
• Date of birth: 01.09.2012 – 31.08.2013

All applicants must first complete the application form.
Only shortlisted candidates will be invited to submit a 1-minute video in English answering:
“Why should I receive a scholarship at Haileybury Astana?”

Important:
This programme is open to external students only.
Once a sufficient number of applicants is reached, registration will be closed early.

In the lead-up to the holiday, our school came together to celebrate a vibrant Unity Day Our pupils prepared a concert featuring music and dances from around the world, followed by a cultural fair where they shared traditions, customs and national cuisine from different countries
