The First Astana Robotics Championship took place at Haileybury Astana school

Haileybury Astana recently hosted the First Astana Robotics Championship, bringing together over 800 students, coaches, teachers, and volunteers, as well as more than 90 teams to showcase their innovative ideas and cutting-edge solutions in the field of robotics.

The competition served as a gateway for teams to qualify for the regional round of the Almaty Tech Cup in robotics.

Haileybury Astana was represented by three teams: Nomadic Dragons Team B, Nomadic Dragons Team A, and Nomadic Dragons Junior. Their remarkable achievements included: Nomadic Dragons Team B winning the ROBOT DESIGN AWARD FINALIST title, Nomadic Dragons Team A receiving the CHAMPION’S AWARD FINALIST recognition, Nomadic Dragons Team Junior taking home the ENTHUSIASM AND DEDICATION AWARD. Thanks to these awards, Nomadic Dragons Team A and Team B earned the privilege to participate in the regional qualification round of the Almaty Tech Cup, where they will compete for a spot in the FIRST Championship.
