Haileybury Astana IB student wins bronze medal at the European Girls’ Mathematical Olympiad

The European Girls’ Mathematical Olympiad is an international mathematics competition similar in style to the International Mathematical Olympiad, with two papers taken on consecutive days.

Each year the EGMO takes place in various countries of Europe. In 2022, the olympiad was held in Hungary. The total number of participants was 222. Merey, Year 12 student studying IB Diploma Programme at Haileybury Astana, has succeeded and received a bronze medal.

Haileybury Astana is proud to share this achievement and wishes Merey the best of luck in future competitions.
