Last week, our school reverberated with the joyous spirit of Nauryz, a celebration symbolizing renewal and the arrival of spring. Pupils engaged in a variety of activities orchestrated by the Kazakh department, marking the festivities with enthusiasm and cultural appreciation.

The day commenced with a delightful "shashu" in the morning, setting the tone for a day filled with cultural immersion and celebration. Last Tuesday, the school was adorned with the colours and textures of traditional Kazakh attire as everyone donned their finest garments in homage to the rich cultural heritage of Nauryz. Throughout the day, students eagerly participated in a myriad of cultural experiences, delving into the intricacies of Kazakh traditions. From learning to cook Kurt, a beloved Kazakh delicacy, to gaining insights into the nomadic lifestyle within the walls of a yurt, every moment was a testament to the school's commitment to fostering cultural understanding and appreciation.
