STEAM Olympiad at Haileybury Astana

The Science Department of Haileybury Astana invites all high school students from Nur-Sultan schools to take part in the Haileybury Astana STEAM Olympiad. Pupils of 6-12 grades of secondary schools in the city of Nur-Sultan (public and private) can take part in the Olympiad in May 2022. 

The event will take place on Saturday 14th May at Haileybury Astana School,

STEAM advances pupils in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics. Haileybury Astana actively involves STEAM in the curriculum. Having the skills in these fields aid pupils in the future to implement knowledge in their careers.

We hope it will be a fantastic way for the schools to come together and get to know more about one another. The STEAM Olympiad will be a hands-on, fun and engaging team challenge; designed to test the student's problem solving, practical, communication and teamwork skills.

Registration termination date: April 30, 2022

Requirements:
  1. Teams minimum 2 people, maximum 5
  2. Schools can enter as many teams as they like ranging from Grade 6-to 12 (mixed).
  3. To participate, the team captain must submit a video entry by April 30th.
  4. The video needs to be a maximum of 2 minutes long, and include, the team name, school and introduce the members and what their interests are.
