International Inaugural Alumni Event

Our very first International Haileybury Connect Kazakhstan Event took place at the RAC Club in London — and what a start it was! With 41 alumni in attendance (36 from Haileybury Almaty and 5 from Haileybury Astana), the evening was a joyful celebration of global friendships, professional journeys, and shared school spirit.
Personal thank-you letters were sent to former Headmasters, and we received enthusiastic feedback confirming what we hoped — our alumni are eager for more!

Football match: Alumni vs Teachers

An afternoon of friendly rivalry and plenty of banter! Alumni returned to the pitch to take on our teachers in a spirited football match. While our alumni brought impressive skills to the game, it was the teachers’ unwavering determination (and maybe a little strategy!) that earned them the win.
The event was packed with energy, laughter, and a shared love for sport — a reminder that teamwork and connection never go out of style.

Celebrating Children’s Day

Children’s Day at Haileybury Almaty turned into a colourful family celebration, as alumni returned — this time with their own children! From crafts and games to music and laughter, it was a heartwarming day filled with joy across generations.
This beautiful gathering was a true celebration of the lasting Haileybury bond.

Old friends, familiar corridors, and lots of stories shared over tea — our Afternoon Tea event brought alumni back to where it all began.
Warm and inviting, the gathering reminded us of the incredible friendships that continue to grow long after graduation. We’re already looking forward to hosting the next round of reunions!

Alumni Meet-up in Dubai

Our Alumni Office had the pleasure of visiting Dariya B. (Class of 2018) in Dubai, where she currently works in the Investments Department at the Chalhoub Group.
An alumna of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, Dariya’s achievements make us incredibly proud — and her continued connection with Haileybury truly embodies the spirit of Haileybury Connect.

UK Universities Networking Event at Haileybury Almaty

Hosted on campus, this popular event brought together alumni and university representatives for a day of meaningful conversations.
Our alumni enjoyed reconnecting with peers, exchanging insights, and sharing stories of their time at UK universities. It was a powerful reminder of the strength and scope of the Haileybury network.

Alumni Catch-Up with Oyku & Derin (Class of 2019)

Alumni office met two students from the class of 2019, twins Oyku and Derin.

Oyku and Derin joined our school in 2008 right from the opening of the school as Year 2 students.
After graduating Haileybury almaty Oyku had her bachelor degree in Turkey and now she is in London studying International Social and Public Policy MSc Student at LSE!
Derin also successfully finished Koc university in Istanbul and now is working as EM Rates Trader at J.P. Morgan in London.
