Introducing Our Commitment to Sustainability at Haileybury Almaty

"Our journey towards sustainability is a collective endeavor, driven by the passion and dedication of our students and staff. At Haileybury Almaty, we believe in empowering our community to lead by example, fostering a culture where every action contributes to a healthier planet. Together, we are shaping a sustainable future, one initiative at a time."

Welcome to the Sustainability section of our website, where we proudly showcase the efforts and achievements of our Eco-Committee.

Our commitment to sustainability is deeply rooted in our mission to foster an environmentally conscious community within our school. Here, we highlight the innovative projects and initiatives undertaken by our dedicated students to promote ecological responsibility and sustainable living.

As educators, we commit to teaching our young people to be sustainability literate and to develop their knowledge, skills, motivation and confidence to practice and promote sustainability at school and in their community.

As an organisation, we commit to circular business practices, ensuring any decisions we make around managing our premises, procurement of goods and services, managing resources and waste, taking into account their impact on the environment, and adopting sustainable practices wherever possible.
