Charity Project 'Women’s shelter'

Charity Project

Last weekend,  the Headmistress visited the women’s shelter (Goethe Street). Miss Lynne Oldfield got acquainted with the results of a charitable project organized jointly with the Friends of Haileybury by Edmonstone House.

This year,  the Friends and Edmonstone together lnot only organized fundraising for the repair of the playroom, but also  involved the pupils into the project as much as possible. Children enthusiastically embraced this idea and took an active part in the project at all its stages. The students developed a design of the playroom, and also took brushes and painted the room. As a result of their joint efforts  we have created a bright and vibrant playroom as well as putting in place many improvements.
