🇰🇿 Kazakhstan Shines at IMO 2025: Six Medals at the World’s Premier Maths Olympiad
We are thrilled to celebrate the achievements of two of our outstanding pupils, Miron (Year 13) and Amirlan (Year 12), who earned Silver Medals at the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) 2025, held this year in Australia.
The IMO welcomed over 650 top young mathematicians from 112 countries. Competing against the brightest minds in the world, the Kazakhstan National Team delivered an exceptional performance — securing 6 medals in total (4 silver and 2 bronze) and placing 17th in the overall team rankings.
Miron and Amirlan’s success is a testament to their dedication, intellect, and love for mathematics. Their contribution played an important role in Kazakhstan’s continued presence on the global stage of academic excellence.

📘 The International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) has been held annually since 1959 and is among the most prestigious academic competitions in the world. Kazakhstan has participated since 1993, amassing a total of 16 gold, 55 silver, and 81 bronze medals to date.
