In the Grand Hall of KIMEP University last week our Upper School Pupils had on show their contribution to the theatrical performance of Robin Hood. This was used for eight performances to the public, with a crowded theatre hall.
In their Art classes, lunchtime sessions, and even after school the year 7-12 pupils created large tapestry style paintings, props and backdrops, and earnt a special thank in the programme that was given out to the audience.
The most special part of this was seeing how well Haileybury pupils worked as a team, across the age ranges, sharing ideas and talent. In the photographs you can see how magnificent their work looked.
Well done to all pupils who contributed so wholeheartedly to this community event, and especially those pupils who earned theatrical set design certificates which were presented by the directors of the Kazakh English Language Theatre (KELT) from KIMEP during school Lists.
