Before the pandemic, there was a widely held notion that technology will revolutionize the field of education. For almost two years now, we have been working on the development of Digital Literacy and Digital Technologies in school.
Today, we would like to tell you about the Apple Project, part of Haileybury Almaty commitment to embracing digital, that is currently implemented in school. This summer 54 MacBooks and 145 iPads have been purchased. The MacBooks will be used by teachers in the Senior School, and iPads will be used by Years 1, 2 and 3 pupils. Moreover, around 30 Samsung Tablets were purchased for use of the Reception classes.

Recently, we introduced the Class Dojo app to class teachers and parents. This app will help parents to receive instant news from their child’s classrooms.
