Computer Science at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Massachusetts

Aruzhan came to Haileybury Almaty in 2017 as a scholarship student with exceptional credentials at the international level, having been a part of a winning Technovation Challenge team. She became Head Girl of Haileybury Almaty for the 2018-2019 school year, decorated our campus with her wonderful painted art, and was able to win a substantial merit-based scholarship at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. We are all eagerly anticipating her next breakthrough in robotics and artificial intelligence.

Aisultan completed both his IGCSEs and A Levels at Haileybury Almaty, and was the youngest person elected to be Edmonstone House Captain. He was not only a gifted musician and actor, but also pushed himself to gain entry into one of the top-40 universities in the USA. A natural businessman who ran the Sixth Form shop, Aisultan is well on his way to an exciting career and we wish him all the best.
