Year 7’s Incredible Journey: A Trip to Astana and Borovoe

What an unforgettable adventure! From the 6th to the 9th of September 2024, our Year 7 pupils embarked on an exciting trip to Astana and Borovoe, immersing themselves in the unique beauty and culture of Kazakhstan.

The journey was packed with activities that not only allowed pupils to appreciate the stunning landscapes but also provided opportunities for personal growth and team-building. A standout moment was experiencing the renowned Nomad Games, where pupils witnessed traditional Kazakh games and celebrations, offering them a glimpse into the country’s rich cultural heritage.

Our students also enjoyed a variety of team-building exercises that fostered collaboration and strengthened friendships. These activities, combined with the excitement of discovering new places, left a lasting impact on everyone involved.

This trip wasn’t just about having fun – it was an opportunity for our Year 7 pupils to broaden their horizons, create lasting memories, and develop a deeper understanding of Kazakhstan’s rich traditions.

We’re incredibly proud of their enthusiasm and sense of adventure throughout the trip. As they returned to school, they brought back not only stories of fun and exploration but also new skills and experiences that will surely enrich their time at Haileybury Almaty.

A big thank you to the staff and pupils who made this journey such a success!
