Welcome to Haileybury Almaty Speech Day 2021

Last week we were celebrating the achievements of our Reception graduates!

As they embark on the exciting journey to their first year in Junior school, the Haileybury Almaty team congratulates them for their effort and hard work. Engaging in play-based learning, they improved their English, learnt the basics of Mathematics, and have developed a better understanding of the world around them.

This year was unusual in many ways, but our Reception pupils have proven themselves to be thoughtful of each other and academically ready for their Junior school years to start.

Haileybury Almaty pupils have proven themselves to be a socially and academically accomplished cohort, showing excellent results in English, Mathematics, and Science that are far above the worldwide average. During their time in Junior school, they have developed their knowledge, learning and presentation skills, and Haileybury Habits.

On this year’s Speech Day, we congratulate Y10 and Y11 pupils on their achievements!

It was a busy and important academic year for Y10 pupils who have started the IGCSE programme and Y11 pupils who have successfully sat IGCSE exams and will soon begin the A-level programme and college preparations. 

Have a relaxing summer, and we are looking forward to seeing you next year!

This year, you have faced challenges of online studying for one-quarter of your A-level Programme, and you have shown extraordinary results. We are delighted to announce that 100% of Haileybury Almaty students have received an A-level Diploma.

Our pupils have been accepted into prestigious universities all around the world, including Cambridge University, Yale University, and Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

The class of 2021 also proven to be responsible members of the community; their achievements include the launch of the OhMyEcon economics website and the educational platform “Cerebrium”; helping the Solnishko orphanage and Abai village, participating in the Harvard University MUN, and many others.

We thank our students for their dedication, hard work, and compassion. You are an example that great successes are possible to accomplish even during challenging times. Our professional and dedicated teachers were happy to provide academic, social and emotional support to this cohort, the Class of 2021!
