Gold and Bronze Medals won in the USA
Olzhas and Adilkhan, Year 12 students studying the IB Diploma Programme at Haileybury Astana, won gold and bronze medals in the American Mathematics Contest (AMC) respectively.
We are very happy and congratulate our talented pupils on their achievements! We would also like to note that Olzhas was invited to the next stage of this Olympiad as one of the brightest four students from Kazakhstan.
The AMC consists of a series of increasingly difficult tests for students in middle school and high school. The programme helps America’s educators identify talent and foster a love of mathematics through classroom resources and friendly competition.
