Haileybury Astana Student Won a Silver Medal at the International Maths Olympiad
From July 2nd to 7th, our IB graduate Merey participated in the "Tuimaada" Maths Olympiad. Congratulations to her on winning the silver medal at the competition!
"Tuimaada" is an annual competition held in Yakutsk for students under the age of 18. Throughout the years, more than 2500 schoolchildren from 16 foreign countries have taken part in this prestigious Olympiad. This year, only 15 students from Astana participated in the maths category.

Notably, Merey also achieved a silver medal at the European Girls' Mathematical Olympiad (EGMO) this year. As a community, we are immensely proud of her accomplishments and would like to express our gratitude to our teachers for their hard work.
