Register for the Advicem Math Competition 

Haileybury Astana IB students Merey and Kamilla have launched The Advicem Math Competition, an online challenge for pupils all over Kazakhstan. The maths battle aims to promote the competition movement and give young students the opportunity to start their Olympiad journey.

The Advicem Math Competition will be held online at 10:00 am on October 15. The students of year groups 5-7 will be given 5-10 mathematical multiple choice and 3-5 mathematical free response questions to solve in 2,5 hours. The topics will include school maths and logical problems of different complexity, depending on a participant's year group. 

Last year, Merey, one of the founders of the mathematical challenge, was awarded the Silver Medal in the National Mathematics Olympiad, as well as, she won third place at Asian Pacific Mathematics Olympiad and the 18th International Zhautykov Olympiad. This year, she and Kamilla from Year 13 despite their busy schedule expressed their willingness to organize an online math challenge.
