The Spirit of TED in Haileybury Astana

Last weekend we held our second annual TEDxYouth conference at Haileybury Astana. Our Year 12 and Year 13 pupils independently organised this magnificent event. Celebrating our differences, fostering respect and practising open-mindedness: all these concepts were discussed and examined during the conference. 

Many thanks to Aigerim, Korkem-Ay, Roland, Naira, Aniya, and our volunteers for planning, designing and hosting the conference. TEDxYouth conference was a tremendous success! 

We would also like to thank our wonderful speakers who took their time to explore the theme ‘Unique’ and share their knowledge on the subject. Speakers of different professions and occupations were given a chance to present their ideas and interpret the theme uniquely.
