Congratulations to Amalia on receiving a university offer to study Aerospace Engineering at the University of Bath, the University of Manchester, and the University of Liverpool!
At Haileybury Astana, Amalia is studying Advanced Maths and Physics as part of her IB subjects. She has always dreamed of being an engineer and has worked hard towards achieving this goal. Last year, she worked at a lab at Nazarbayev University and contributed to the development of 3D printing of metals used in the aerospace industry. At school, she has formed an engineering club and is working on promoting STEM subjects among girls.
