Year 12 scholar Abilmansur Selected for Prestigious CERN-Solvay Student Camp in Switzerland

We are excited to announce that Abilmansur, one of our Year 12 students, has been chosen to participate in the esteemed CERN-Solvay student camp at CERN, the renowned European Organization for Nuclear Research in Geneva, Switzerland. Among the 30 high-school students selected globally, Abilmansur 12 year Scholar secured his spot through a competitive selection process.

The CERN-Solvay student camp presents an unparalleled opportunity for young scholars to immerse themselves in the fascinating realm of particle physics research. Over the course of a week, participants will engage in hands-on experiments, explore CERN's cutting-edge research facilities, attend lectures and interactive Q&A sessions, delve into STEM career pathways, and partake in various social activities. Moreover, each attendee will collaborate within small groups on specialized research projects, guided by CERN's esteemed scientific volunteers.

Abilmansur's selection for this prestigious camp is a testament to his academic prowess, dedication, and passion for scientific exploration. His achievement reflects not only his individual excellence but also the commitment to academic excellence fostered here at Haileybury School.

Students’ selection is a source of immense pride for the Haileybury community and Scholl has  no doubt that our pupils make the most of this enriching experience and continue to inspire others with passion for science.

Haileybury Astana express the best wishes for a rewarding and unforgettable experience at the CERN-Solvay student camp!
