Haileybury Almaty Triumphs at the 2024 Almaty Games

The Almaty Games 2024 marked another successful year of fierce competition and camaraderie as Haileybury Almaty once again hosted Haileybury Astana and The British School of Tashkent.

Following the same format as the FOBISIA Games, the event featured male and female athletes competing in tiered groupings across Athletics, Swimming, T-Ball, and Football.

Day 1: Athletics, T-Ball, and Swimming

On a scorching hot Saturday, the athletes hit the ground running with a full day of Athletics, T-Ball, and Swimming. Our students showcased their dedication and hard work, competing with determination and skill.

Day 2: Football

Despite the threat of rain on Sunday, all the football games were completed, adding to the thrilling conclusion of the Almaty Games. The intense competition saw our athletes pushing their limits and demonstrating excellent teamwork.

Results

Athletics:

• 🥈 2nd: Haileybury Almaty
• 🥉 3rd: British School Tashkent

Swimming:

• 🥇 1st: Haileybury Almaty
• 🥈 2nd: Haileybury Astana
• 🥉 3rd: British School Tashkent

T-Ball:

• 🥇 1st: Haileybury Almaty
• 🥈 2nd: Haileybury Astana
• 🥉 3rd: British School Tashkent

Football:

• 🥇 1st: Haileybury Almaty
• 🥈 2nd: Haileybury Astana
• 🥉 3rd: British School Tashkent

In both T-Ball and Football, Haileybury Almaty and Haileybury Astana were tied on points. However, Haileybury Almaty emerged victorious in both events based on points scored and goal difference, securing their status as the Almaty Games Champions for the second consecutive year!
