Speech Day & 10 year celebration

31 May 2019 was a very special day in the life of Haileybury Almaty as we celebrated 10 years here in Kazakhstan.

The school is not only the best in the country but also the Central Asia region. As we celebrated the wonderful successes of the school, more of which to come, we are about to move into an exciting new era for the Haileybury Almaty.

The celebration began with the “Speech Day” award ceremony, where the best pupils of the school received certificates and awards for academic excellence and attitude to learning. The honored guests of the school, Donald MacLeod, Alister Bartholomew, and Howard Bullock, delivered a speech to the pupils.

The ceremony was also attended by Baurzhan Baybek, Mayor of the southern capital. He delivered a speech to the guests and wished our pupils further achievements.

After the solemn ceremony, the celebration continued on the green lawns of the school, where all the guests could enjoy a wonderful buffet, eat ice cream and cotton candy, and watch an excellent performance prepared by the pupils and teachers of the school.

The event was wonderful and we thank everyone who came to the school that day and shared the joy of the event with us! Thanks to the sincere support of the entire school community, your participation and excellent mood, our holiday went exactly as we dreamed.

Many thanks to all for the wishes, emotions and attention!
