It is with great pleasure that I welcome you and your child to Reception at Haileybury Almaty. Starting school is a significant milestone for your child and for your whole family. Our dedicated team is committed to ensuring that those first steps are filled with warmth, confidence, and joy. We very much look forward to getting to know each of you.

The steps below will guide you through everything that needs to be in place before your child joins us in August.
By 15 June | Agreements, fees and identity documents • Sign the educational services agreement • Pay school fees • Sign the image use agreement • Submit passport and birth certificate copies for your child and both parents |
June – August | Medical check-up • Book and attend all required specialist appointments • Obtain your child’s health passport and vaccination records • Complete and sign the medical form |
July – August | School uniform and photograph • Purchase school uniform from the school shop • We will be in touch to arrange your child's official school photograph - sessions will take place from 9 August onwards |
By 21 August | Submit all documents • Submit all completed documentation to the Admissions and Medical offices by 21 August • Documents may be submitted over the summer, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 3:30 pm • Please let us know in advance so we can arrange your visit • Create your Parent Portal account (instructions sent by email) |
Please download, complete, and return each of the following documents to our offices ahead of your child’s first day.
| Medical checklist | Lists all specialist appointments required before your child begins school. |
| Medical form | Covers your child’s health history, allergies, medications, and vaccination consent. Must be completed in your own hand and signed by both parents. |
| Vaccine consent form | Please complete and sign this form to confirm your consent for the School to monitor your child's vaccination status and support the administration of scheduled vaccinations in accordance with the recommendations of the Ministry of Healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan. |
| Vaccine refusal form | Please complete and sign this form if you do not consent for your child to participate in scheduled vaccinations arranged through the School in accordance with the recommendations and vaccination schedule of the Ministry of Healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan. |
| Image and personal data use agreement | Please read carefully and indicate whether you consent to the use of your child’s photographs in school publications and communications. |
Choice of medical provider There is no requirement to attend a specific clinic or hospital. You are welcome to visit any qualified medical provider of your choice. | Accepted languages We accept medical documentation in English, Kazakh, or Russian. Should your records be in another language, a notarised translation will be required. |
Requirements for each certificate Your child’s full name clearly stated The name of the clinic and an official stamp with signature The date of issue | How medical records may be submitted Records may be presented as individual specialist certificates, recorded in your child’s health passport, or entered directly into the medical checklist - whichever is most convenient. |

| Please sign the Vaccination Consent Form and include your child’s vaccination card with your submitted documents. | Please sign the Refusal of Vaccination Form. Both options are included within the Medical form. |
