Adapting to the Challenges

How the school life has changed due to COVID safety measures?

Health and Safety of our pupils is the main priority of the Haileybury Astana team. We have created a safe environment in which pupils have an access to the best educational resources.

What are we currently doing?

✔️Air Filtration UV devices to filter and kills germs in every classroom
✔️ Special Learning groups of no more than 15 pupils
✔️ Specialised Learning timetable to ensure no intermixing between Learning Groups
✔️ Temperature check for every pupil entering the school. Any person with a temperature over 37 degrees is not allowed to enter the school.
✔️ Hand sanitisers are located all around the school and students and staff will be required to use the hand sanitisers when entering the building and entering and exiting classrooms and the dining hall.
✔️Hand sanitiser liquid we use is sanctioned by the local Health Authority and does not contain alcohol.
✔️One way systems are in place around the school with clear signage on stairs and in corridors.
✔️Additional segregation barriers to isolate groups of children.

The school day has slightly changed, however the most parts of it are same as previously.

We are hoping to return back to normal school life and resume all sport and co-curricular activities. For now, we make sure to provide the best quality academic and pastoral care to all pupils of Haileybury Astana.
