UNESCO Club announces Charity Results

Last year members of the UNESCO Club at Haileybury Astana organised a Charity for the Pioneer Orphanage in the Karaganda region. Raida and Arina, Year 13 students, were in charge of the fundraising and charity gifts for the New Year celebration. The children from the orphanage were thankful for making their New Year’s wishes come true.

We are proud of the Haileybury Astana UNESCO Club's results that demonstrated the pupils' attitude and contribution to making the world a better place. The charity organised by IB students has raised 327 900 ₸.

Such kind actions follow the mission of UNESCO, which involves the promotion of unity, tolerance, goodness, and a sense of responsibility for spreading the ideas of peace.⠀
