Annual Report 2024 - 2025

In the 2024–2025 academic year, the Haileybury Almaty Parents’ Association (HPA) continued its active work, supporting the school and organising important charitable initiatives.

The total funds raised in the 2024–2025 academic year exceeded ₸25 million. These resources are dedicated to charitable initiatives, support for school projects, and the development of Haileybury Almaty’s educational ecosystem.

Fundraising Highlights

Senior School Football Tournament

The tournament became not only a sporting event but also a platform for engaging the entire school community.

With the joint efforts of Houses, parents, and pupils, a total of ₸925,631 was raised. All funds directed to support children in Almaty region with rare (orphan) diseases.

Winter Fair

The Winter Fair once again attracted a large number of participants and guests.

The amount raised reached ₸1,455,470. Support provided to the Solnyshko Orphanage.

Community Event

Winter Intellectual Games in a Mardi Gras theme

The new format brought fresh energy, reflecting both cultural traditions and a celebratory spirit. Parents appreciated the engaging atmosphere, while the school welcomed the change as it aligned well with community values.

The event featured creative performances, themed seating arrangements, and a lively quiz competition, making it one of the most memorable highlights of the year.

Fundraising Highlights

Nauryz Celebration

This spring festival brought together the whole Haileybury family.

Collectively, ₸1,402,850 was raised. Nebulisers donated to the Centre for Paediatrics and Paediatric Surgery, Oncohaematology Department and support provided to children in Almaty region living with coeliac disease.

Summer Charity Ball

This event reaffirmed HPA’s role as a key partner of the school in delivering social and educational projects.

The highlight of the year was the Charity Ball, which generated a record ₸21,340,000—funds directed to support children in Almaty region living with rare disease.
