We are proud to share that Miron, a recent graduate of Haileybury Almaty, attended a special reception at the Akorda Presidential Residence, where the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, met with winners and medallists of prestigious international academic Olympiads.
Both Miron and Amirlan (Year 12) earned silver medals for Kazakhstan at the International Mathematical Olympiad 2025 in Australia, and both were invited to Akorda in recognition of their achievements. While Amirlan was unable to attend, Miron proudly represented them at the ceremony.
This gathering honoured 24 of the country’s brightest young minds in mathematics, chemistry, physics, geography, informatics, and biology, who together have showcased Kazakhstan’s growing reputation in global education.
We join the President in applauding the talent, dedication, and perseverance of all the students, as well as the teachers and families who guided them. Their accomplishments are an inspiration for the next generation of learners in Kazakhstan.
