TEDxYouth@HaileyburyAstana: “What makes you truly unique?”

We are proud to inform you that TEDxYouth@HaileyburyAstana’s presentations from the notable speakers were published on TEDx Talks' official YouTube channel. It is a massive achievement of our IB students who fully devoted themselves to the organisation of the event. 

On June 11th, 2022 Haileybury Astana hosted the second annual TEDxYouth@HaileyburyAstana conference. The theme of the conference was “Unique”. Guest speakers and attendees were invited to explore the concept of uniqueness. 

Organizing such a prominent educational event became a great feature of the Sixth Form. For the second year in a row, Haileybury Astana IB students took their time to choose the theme of the conference, plan the convention, invite guest speakers and think of logistics. 

Despite the exams being around the corner, Year 12 and Year 13 students had united to set up one of the outstanding events that happen across the school. 

Many thanks to Ainur Bekenova, Amer Asfour, Baurzhan Sagiyev, Daulet Mukhanov, Kathy Leach, Madina Sypatayeva, Sanzhar Bazilzhanov and Sofiya Temirkhanova for presenting their ideas and sharing their experiences which are unique to them.
