Haileybury Astana Model United Nations Conference

April 13 - April 14, 2024

Haileybury Astana invites pupils the age of 11-18 to take part in the HASTMUN 2024 Conference which will be held on April 13 - 14, at Haileybury Astana. Participation in the conference is 5,000₸ for each student.

Model United Nations (MUN) is a 2-day educational simulation of a United Nations conference, where delegates represent different countries, advocate their policies, and debate real-life global issues. MUN embraced worldwide by schools and colleges, is an informative and engaging extracurricular activity.
The theme of this year’s conference is “Protecting the World’s Interests,” through which we hope to encourage students to broaden their horizons and gain an awareness of the generational issues plaguing our world.

About Haileybury Astana MUN Conference 2024

Model United Nations has been a significant part of Haileybury Astana's history for a long time now, especially since it provides pupils with ample opportunities to expand their public speaking and collaboration skills. However, for many soon-to-be graduating students, this is a prime opportunity to not only win more awards but also demonstrate your tenacity, empathy, critical thinking and leadership skills; all the crucial abilities sought out by top Universities.
The official language of the conference is English, so it is also a great way to enhance English speaking and writing skills.
